Isnt it about time we had our own employment agency, or someone to look out for those who either have been in the role or want to get into the role. how often do you hear of out of work FA's who are not ready to lay down and die just cause they are out of work. Whoever it was that said there are 5000 lined up behind you ready to crack you knee caps was right, but in the end how do they pan out on line? you cant replace the experienced it only comes with time, when it all turns to worms its the experience that counts.

You're right, you can't go past practical experience. Unfortunately, management [ who probably have very little, but feel the need to leave their mark ], like to try to prove otherwise.
There are several ex-Fa's who, after retirement , have made lots more in an advisory capacity, to airlines, than they made whilst on the line.
Again, your experience is worth $$$$'s....use it.
