just got the call/e-mail

I just got the e-mail this morning for my second second interview. They have me slated for the end of January. I'm pretty sure I will not get the time off from work and I don't think my wife will be able to as well. February would be easy for both of us to get time off.

My question is will it look bad if I ask for a early February interview instead of the end of January. I just don't want them to question how much I want it.

and the february one

im in the same boat, so to speak. my second interview is the end of jan and it looks like it is going to be impossible to get the time off (my current employer doesn't know about the interview) i never really considered calling and trying to reschedule, i think im going to have to level with my boss and hope he sees this as a big opportunity and gives me the time off, without pay if necessary. did you do your first in sfo?
