July, Not much has happened for the last 6 of them.

since the ground staff have only seen one payrise above 1.5% in the last 7 years. To finally get an above inflation payrise for once is quite nice.
And considering like most of the cabin crew I seem to have to visit the doctor 50 times a year - since some of the cabin darlings need an excuse to not go flying - then the raise should just cover the additional medical fees.
But, judging by the fact that you have only recently joined the PP community, you are perhaps still learning about life in CX.
Best to keep quiet and appreciate the efforts of all the other people in CX.....

Quite right N1,
Any increase in pay or better conditions for any of our fellow workers should be applauded - of course watching our engineers etc leave for better paying jobs is sad but it's the only thing that the company will pay attention to... let's just hope that it will also turn into a fair pay increase for our flight deck crew too. Market forces will prevail! - "Live by the sword..."
