Hi, ill be 16 in a few months and in transition year in school. Im wondering is there any way of working as Cabin Crew for 3 months during next summer as work experience or do you have to be 18+?

No problem with going to London as my dad kives there.

Very restricted in Ireland for aviation work experience.

Have any of you ever been in my situation? If so let me know how you got W.E.

Currently, you need to be over 18 to be cabin crew. Also the shortest contracts tend to be 6 months, with the charter operators. The cost of training you, kitting you out in uniform, security ID`s etc... out ways employing you for a shorter period of time.
Also with the current problems the airlines are having they can be very select.
The job of cabin crew isn`t as easy as it looks.When things go fine, yeap great day but when things don`t well different story. Airlines look for cutomer service experience, which at 16 you will not have gained yet.
