Ryanair find themselves in the dock once again after a group of 'suspicious' passengers, one of them being blind, were turfed off their STN bound flight. Apparently, one of the group, all members of a Steel Band, was reading the football scores to the blind man, and a nearby pax thought this was a coded message to bomb/hijack the aircraft. They ended up in LPL, many hours later, with nowhere to stay, it being New years Eve, and spent the night in a bus shelter before making it home the next day.
What good PR that turned out to be.
Don't you just love it?

Because whilst the incident happened on New Year's Eve, the court hearing only started yesterday.

A bus shelter in LPL? Doesn't get much worse than that does it, even by FR's standards?! :E

Sorry...... Missing the point here
they were on a flight from Sardinia to Stansted...??
then they were offloaded and had to spend a night in a Liverpool bus station, and were given a free flight home to Liverpool the next day, but did not arrive back home in the the capital (Liverpool???!!!) until Jan 2nd after they missed a bus
where is home ???
if home is the capital London (Jason Constantine, 43, from south London, a member of the band) and they were offloaded at Stansted, how the fu****ck did they end up in a bus station in Liverpool and why did Ryanair give them a free flight to Liverpool???
Do Ryanair fly via LPL to get from Sardinia to Stansted??
Someone please help explain WTF ...
yours sincerely confused........
oh yes.. what was a pax doing on the flight deck?? especially a psychologist even on the ground!!!

There's an ironic ending to this ridiculous saga. The 'Talipan' (as some people have jokingly nicknamed them :) ) are booked to play the opening of T5. :ok:
