I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Blackburn Buccaneer Society, to wish Kemble Air Services the very best of British, as they head off to Cotswold District Council tomorrow for the begining of a three day planning enquiry.

The enquiry will weigh up evidence from both KAS Ltd and CDC, before deciding whether air traffic should end at the historic airfield.

Here, here!

It's a sad fact of this case that the main protagonist is an ex RAF Pilot, who then spent a long time on 737s at BMI.

I believe after retirement he joined Oxford as a Groundschool Instructor.

Good luck to Kemble.

Once upon a time, our main protesters were a BA skipper and his stewardess wife who moved to a house on about 2nm final; a couple of us had been friends with them too!!
They were followed by a retired scientist who had spent all his working life at this airfield.
