I have signed up with BGS for the ATPL(H) course.
Very happy with the content so far.
I am now looking at the possibilities of getting a heli job and it looks remote. For one that will pay off my mortgage and loan for the training.
I am therefore thinking about upping my marketability by doing the CPL(A) course too.
Which exams do I need to pass in addtion to the ATPL(H) ones to gain ATPL(A) theory credit ?
I am in studing mode at the moment so a couple more subjects wont kill me (I hope not anyway).
Thanks in advance.

Broadly speaking, the courses are very similar.

Of the 13 ATPL(H) exams, 12 of these are common with the ATPL(A). However you will need to sit the Principles of Flight (Aeroplanes) instead of Principles of Flight (Helicopters), and you will need to sit the additional Aeroplane 'Performance' exam.

To be qualified for both aeroplanes and helicopters will require 15 exams in total, being the full set of 14 Aeroplane exams, as well as the extra Helicopter PoF exam.
