i just received this in my pprune mailbox,

During another lifetime I used to receive many phishing e-mails. Can I draw your attention to the following website of the Metropolitan Police. I suggest you take their recommended action and advise them of the fraud attempt.

I was disappointed to see this item moved down to this forum.

I think what imabell is saying is something that I have suspected for a long time. That is that PPrune needs to do some bloody good housekeeping and get some of the raiding viruses out of the woodwork.

I suspected it but had it confirmed when recently I upgraded to a new computer and it was not until after my first vist to pprune that all of a sudden I re-commenced receiving the same lines of spam mail in my usual outlook express email.
