Help with some old airport ID's

Hello all,

I recently acquired a TWA navigator's logbook and flight time record that covers the period 1951-1953. I've been able to decipher some of the 4 letter airport codes, but others are a mystery. The canadian and us codes are similiar enough to their present day ICAO counterparts to be recognizable. However, the european and middle east codes differ from the modern day ones enough to puzzle this colonial. Bearing in mind the route structure of Trans World Airlines at the time, can anyone offer some suggestions or confirmation for the following--

CSPT (Lisbon Portella?)

HEKL (Zurich? later HEZH?)

HEGF (Geneva? later HEGE?)

FFLB (Lyon?)

MAXN

ODJD (Jeddah?)

SVAA (Aden?)

SSFK

SVWA

EAMD (Madrid?)

DDRM (Frankfurt Rhein-Main?)

TFKF (Keflavik?)

This may assist

CSPT = correct
HEKL = correct = Kloten
FFLP = correct only one airport then
OEJD = correct old airport down town - I lived next door
EAMD = correct
DDRM = correct
TFKF = correct
CSAZ = correct AZ = Azores

Believe you can still check ICAO archives for the changes in the late 50s/early 60s.

Some further info for you;

In 1958 the following codes were in use

HEGF, Geneva
MAXN, Mildenhall
FFLB, Paris Le Bourget
SVAA ?? SUAA was Uruguay, Agel S. Adami/Melella
OD** was used for Lebanon
SS** was used for the UAE (Egyptian Sector)
SV** was used for Greece

Ah aka Stansted-in-the Fields Airport LOL (now STN of course)
Lone Channel Airways Trident sitting there, and some rather old ex Pan Am 707's lodging by the hangars, and perhaps a BMA or a Lloyd International 707 too.
Busier in the summers with Channel's ''new'' Comets, and some Charter DC-8's and 707's of the American supplemental and Canadian carriers, doing the 'local' Beekeepers and Honey makers Affinity Group Transatlantic jaunts lol.

Also, when we began flying holiday charters to Reus in Spain the code was QGN (Tarragona was nearby city)

Yes it was, forgot that one.
Many charter flights used to go there, and also to LJU (Ljubljana) rather than to Venice back in the old days for Package Holidays and joining Coach Tours.
Bit like PGP Perpignan was used for years to go to the Spanish Costa Brava, rather than fly to Barcelona (before Gerona was built).
Sadly flying in to PGP was rather costly for the charter airlines due to the pesky local Mountains.
