Im not cabin crew but have noticed BY have advertised on there website. Recruiting Feb so give them a call if you havent already.

yes great to see . .i called today and was offered a choice of days over next two weeks if any guys or dolls got any tips or info on what the assesment day is like i really pleased to hear

Just been to Britannia interview today. I must say for a very professional company, an extremely poor recruitment process.
Anybody can turn up if height and weight are in proportion and you possess a passport. Not interested in experience or background on the first stage of the day (could of had a criminal record).
They should provide us with an application form beforehand like other airlines, complete it and return it to them so they can say yes or no and not to waste my time and theirs.
Won't be bothering them again.

How are you so sure you wasted your time? were you not asked back?? Don't presume that this is an unprofessional way to recruit you get much more info from a human than a C.V. its just that most small airlines do not have the manpower to operate this type of first stage recruitment process, and criminals?? was this your main thought?? Please think about it!!

Now, now Tea or Coffee, no need to be so bitter. Presume from your tone you didn't pass as you're the first person I've ever heard complain about it. I believe they ask you rather more than just your height, weight and whether you have a passport during the telephone interview, too. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Believe me they do?. . Why didnt you try for hearsay then.
Flying clea, what do 'they' do??
Having been to interviews with three seperate charter companys, i have found they all do things pretty much the same. You can expect to spend a whole day there filling out forms and preforming 'group exercises', to then be sent home at the end of the day and told "we'll be in touch". The lucky candidates will normally get a phonecall within a couple of days giving them the good news.
By the way, Air 2000 are also recruiting for most of their bases too!
