Righto...to those in the know....any idea why J* has removed the pilot job listing on their employment page???

Backlog of people to start courses? Shutting down the interviewing for chrissie?

ps anyone who has got a start, how far out are people getting 'the call' to starting a training course?

Maybe they are just behaving responsibly and not getting peoples hopes up. Yeah right. Waiting to see whether Tiger do them any damage? As if they would give a toss about stopping the interviewing process on that basis, seeing as you pay to attend the interview anyway. Or maybe as you suggest, the training pipeline is blocked. Quite likely.
Whatever, if they don't want your application right now, they don't want it. The goalposts are constantly moving, and it's not over yet, so watch the website and wait. And if you get a better offer than no offer, take it.

Err, seems the pilot job listing is there. With 68 buses + options for more the problem will be to find suitable candidates, would you not think?

BTW, is the General Manager Flying Operations at Jetstar a former Ansett training captain (JS?) by any chance?
