Need to go to the USA to get a recurrent on the C500 series from the uk
ideally would like somewhere where a direct flight from the UK arrives at so I dont have to drive miles to where the test aircraft is based.

Does anyone know where I can locate an examiner and aircraft (not expensive)

My idea is to fly out on a friday and back in the UK by a monday.

My usual guy has his aircraft in maintenance and I need to do this quickly

I cant help with details, but if you contact Martin Barnes at Bristol Flight Centre, MB spends a bit of time in the US and probably can reccomend somewhere for you to get a "Drive-by" 61.58 on a Ce500.

Jet Centre, Sanford, Florida. A/C, examiner and sim, very economical. Or Bggin, CE550, examiner visits UK, ask for Marcel through Avtech.

Martin

Thanks for the info do I need TSA for a recurrent ie not training just a flight test?
If I do need the TSA can I get it in days rather than weeks?

From what I gather here as long as the aircraft is below 12500 ibs ie if a citation 500 is used to renew the 500 series ie 500 550 560 and No training is required only a flight test, then this does not apply?

its a mute point if the full tsa approval is required for a testing only event i.e. 61.58

Most of the training providers do not have a clue so tend to go with the safest option.

one could say the whole thing is just a log book cert so why bother
