Fellow aviation enthusiasts I am looking for some pictures of hangar 4 during the 80's . In particular Tradewinds or Naganagi DC8's and 707's.

I have great memories of contracting days waiting for Air Europe 757 on a Thursday evening to come on to the ramp.

See what you can find please :ok:

Great Pictures and what a buzz that was seeing a piece of my past. 'Gazin' did you work there ? I was there on a couple of occasions with ATEL then Chevron and Qualitair Eng.

I can remember hanging in there on waiting time of basic 40hrs for two weeks waiting for Tradewinds to come in, I lived locally so no big deal but most of the connies needed bug hours to make it worth while.
Bounce some names and I'll see if I remember anyone.

GAZIN,

Great shots of the old days, I worked on most of those aircraft featured.

I tried to see if my car was parked in the background but no Gold Capri..:\

Do you have any pics of the Donaldson Intl in ELAL livery. It must be about 71-72 and as a Plod at LHR a number of us came down to guard the a/c as porr Donaldson had gone bust. Does anyone know whatever happened to the aircraft. Sadly in those days I had little interest in aviation. Another story to bore you all with was a relationship I had with one of the TMAC secretaries i believe Veronica Pope may have been her name and she let me have a handful of pictures (thats all) from a tea checs full of them that was going out. It had lots of CL44 but one was of the aircrfat that freddie Laker's built the Ambassador made at SEN and was press release ones with girls draped over it One final memory was of a blue Invictor Vanguard on crew training landing with the brakes set to park thus closing the runway fro about 8 hours. Such happy days.
