Hey all,

I'm looking for some feedback with regard to who has the best FBO facilities/staff/location at STN.

From what I understand they are all located on the site of the old Terminal area??

I am interested in anyone's opinions, whether your Crew/Brokers/Ops staff etc.

Looking to send some business there and I would like to offer the best possible services to my potential clients.

Currently use FAB/BQH the most but have had some interest in STN and although I have not been there myself, I do know a few people at various STN companies.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Punch:ouch:

Punch,

It seems you already have a very good knowledge of STN or the "Posh side" as you call it in your previous posts.

I like Inflite, but you have to be very specific with directions for your clients and pick up.

You really need to take a visit. There are pros & cons for both. I know both very well, and have customers (both crew & pax) who have their own pref.

There is no substitute to a visit, and to experience a live (pref muti) ops at both.

Questions; are you owner use or charter? If owner use, then have the owner /CP visit with you if poss. If charter, well then again a visit should be made.

Also of course, depends on your acft type/s and if you want 24/365 availability. M11 in to LON can be a nightmare at any time of day/week some times, train is crap also.

PM me if you need any further.

PS. As PhilB states, until familiar, be specific with directions. Please ignore those folks who denigrate any BIZAV facility.

The few times that I went there I used Harrods. They are not so bad, at least they replay to the e-mails.

Have only ever used Inflite and have always been very happy with the services they provide. Good set of guys up there!

Ask Harrods for price before booking. Can be disproportionate and truly shocking!

used Harrod's few weeks ago with a kingair 200 with 8 pax.

We had a 3 hour ATC slot, all went smoothly as far catering and accomodation for pax were concerned. Bill was £450ish, and very friendly & professional OPS crew. Definately worth the experience.

Inflite has just had a complete refurbishment. Truly awesome facility now both in terms of passenger and crew accomodation. :ok:

I was once charged £560 for handling at Harrods (client's choice), with an aircraft smaller than a Kingair, and I was there a lot shorter time and had no passengers! With variation like that I would certainly suggest a check on price first.

I use Harrods on a weekly basis and have to say I am very impressed with the service they provide. I have not had a single problem with over 30 flights in the last 4 months. They have a very friendly and professional staff that provides first class customer service. They may be a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Boys and girls. Just so you know, at least one of the posters in this thread has an ISP address the same as the company they are asking about or recommending so some of this is not as innocent as it seems.

If you want to advertise an FBO we have excellent rates on banners and those annoying, flashing boxes.

If you want to know what people think of your service why not just be honest and ask them?

I agree that the M11 can be a nightmare and that if you have business in London it can be VERY time consuming coming in to the City. For crew accomodations I try to use the hotels Cambridge or the properties at the airport as much as possible to cut down on travel time.
