Does anyone know of any new airlines starting up from either Liverpool or Manchester which will take direct entry No1 Cabin Crew. If so the info would be greatly appreciated for a friend of mine.

Many thanks.

There's a new charter airline being set up with three B737s (either 300 or 700) at LGW and two at MAN. It's called astraeus and seems like it will be doing IT work for small independent tour operators. website is www.flyastraeus.com Don't have any more info than what's on the website

Try this link for cabin crew based at Liverpool www.easyjet.com/en/jobs/ . Although not a new airline, easyJet will be around for a long time yet!

Excel Airways possibly are looking for direct entries and an Italian airline "Azzurra" will be based at MAN this summer. For details of the latter search on a fab site for aviation jobs. www.aviationjobsearch.com
