VB OPC Questions

Hi Guys/Gals,

Can I ask from those you who have been subject to a prejoin OPC,what is covered,and is the detail coducted using two candidates,each acting in each role and then culminating in LOFT exercise?
Also what flight profiles/scenarios/questions are covered.

Can I ask again what this pre-join OPC covers please,all I have been told is that I will receive a book with stuff in it which I havent as yet and the date is near.
Am I supposed to operate under VB procedures in this exercise?
I would appreciate any info on it.

Are you talking about pre employment, or pre interview? There is a difference. The interview excercise is carried out according to the notes that recruiting WILL forward you. The pre employment is no big secret. A search on here will uncover what you need to know, and if you have done your type rating recently as most seem to have, it isn't too difficult. Use the Boeing procedures you've been taught. It isn't necessary to use VB calls and such. Approaches and engine failures and a bit of raw data hand flying. Not much else.

If you are doing them in MEL this week you will find yourself doing it in a -300 ;)
