hi all

just starting to study for my IREX with bob taits book, and I cant help but notice that bobs questions are quite similar to the ATPL Law exam questions

has anybody that have done both of these exams found that to be the case? ive heard irex is one of the harder exams, but i managed 97% on atpl air law first go!

Hey, how ya going?

I have just done IREX a few days ago. Passed it first go thank God. Starting ATPL Law soon, but from what I've been told is that it is very similar to IREX, regarding the laws anyway. So vice versa I'd assume.

In my exam, a heap of it was based on alternate requirements, which is law.

The IREX exam isn't as horrible as people make it out to be. I really enjoyed it. I passed it first go with an hour to spare. :} So there is plenty of time to answer all questions. It's like doing an exam on IFR AIR LAW with some weather and nav aid questions thrown in. As ussual CASA :E will try and trick you with some bizzare questions/wording but nothing you can't handle by reading the questions carefully.

Good Luck :ok:
