Hi,

I am presently on a modular course intertwined with a degree. Right now I'm in the middle of the ATPL theory and so far so good, but next year after the hours building & CPL I make the choice of whether to go back and finish the degree at uni - or to jump straight on to the IR & MCC and skip the degree all together.

My query was on the importance of having that degree in the likelihood of my being employed when I finish. The problem stems from the particularly poor A-Level results when I did them a good few years ago and I would hate to have to put them on my CV! The degree would seem like the next step up on being able to wipe those from my slate.

If someone with experience could offer me advice on the matter, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Alex

If your on modular whats the rush? a degree is a good thing wherever you go in life. Besides the last thing you want to be doing is kicking yourself when you look back on it and think " i really should have fisnished that degree"

This is very true, I'm leaning towards obviously following through and finishing the course. The only thing is I wondered if anyone knew what effect my poor A-levels would have on the likelihood of me getting a job if I didn't have a degree as well.
