I have found an old print of Mosquito 35 TA703 that I took in the 1950s at a display somewhere. I presume it was a TT35 by then. It might have been at a show at Upwood, or Alconbury or Wymeswold or somewhere else, as I used to go to a lot of shows at the time (around 1955-1959). Can anyone locate the place and date? I foolishly did not record them!
What happened to TA703?
Thanks

Yes, definately a TT.35. I will look it up on my air display database tonight and let you know.

Your photograph was taken at Horsham St.Faith's Battle of Britain show on 14th September 1957. Any chance of a higher-resolution scan so we can have a proper look at it please?

Thanks Steve. Only problem is that on 14 September 1957 I was at the Upwood BoB! Could it have been there? I knew Upwood very well, having flown quite a bit from there as an ATC cadet, but I cannot determine if the hangars in the background are Upwood's, but they could be. I am trying to see what fins are visible behind the Mosquito. The date would fit, as TA703 was broken up in 1959, after service with 2CAACU.
I shall rescan the picture to try to see better.

OK Steve, here is a new scan, this time with more background in. There is a Meteor NF12 or 14 fin behind the Mosquito, and on the field is a Dragonfly. I recorded NF12 WS617 at the Upwood display, but no Dragonfly.

It could have gone over to Upwood the same day of course. Thanks for the photo, I'll take a closer look based on what's in the background.
