Which is the best Flight Attendant Site?

Besides this one of course!

Why it's www.airlinestaff.com (http://www.airlinestaff.com) of course! Loads of info about who's recruiting, airline gossip, places to go down route, etc. Plus you can get your own airlinestaff.com e-mail address. Fab!

:)

Are you two by any chance related? Such a form of promotion would of course be against the PPrune site rules. I just love the "Blue Peter" way these two posts flow into each other....

Got my eye on it... ;)... and many URL search tools under my tentacles as well.

Not at all!!!

However airlinestaff.com is run by a friend of mine, hence the promo :)

Sick Squid, Singapore just banned the latest Janet Jackson CD claiming the lyrics are too steamy, are you from Singapore by any chance?

The question asked here sounds harmless enough... and with over 30,000 members registered on this site I find your post shows you really are a silly squid and an insecure one at that.

Take a chill pill!!! Oh and by the way, if you want to get into the rules I suggest you start enforcing them instead of making such a statement and embarrasing the other moderators who know how to use their common sense.

Good day to you. And before you comment about my relationship with the above two, please be assured that my comments are born as a result of your immature post.

;) Wow Sick Squid, you should be worried when accused of immaturity by a real pro! :)
He sure knows what he is talking about! :)

Once more your tentacle will be more than welcome, thanks Squiddie dear!

That post was almost entirely tongue in cheek Ms Kangaroo, why do you think I put a winking-dancing-Hawaii-thingything smiley in there? One of these.... ;) Most people I think will have detected that....

My chill-pill was taken long ago.... may I suggest you take one too? Some people register on this site, post a question, re-register and answer that question as an advertisement for their own (usually commercial) site. That deprives Pprune of the advertising revenue which is 100% ploughed back in to keeping it running, and keeping the 30,000 members with viewing material. Anything wrong in subtly referring to that...? At the time I posted I didn't have the time to compare ISP's, the easiest way usually to spot just that activity; unfortunately, I have to fly to pay the bills and that interferes with spare-time activities such as this.

I've now checked the URL's/ISP's, something I'd normally have done quietly and without anyone knowing, and in my opinion the posts are fine. I still love the way they run together, however, almost too good to be true....! MinimumRest, no problem, by the way! It's a pretty good site, tell your friend.. not as good as this one, though, but pretty good! :) But there's never been anyone in chat (the gloriously named "Flirt Deck") whenever I've visited... unlike the wonderful PPruNe chat; shameless advert! Not that I have the time to go in there often now....

And Ms Kangaroo, if you wish to have a discussion about free speech and censorship, then go ahead I'm your man; Amnesty International active supporter, John Pilger and Noam Chomsky's greatest fan, subscriber to Adbusters and abhorer of the power of governments and mass-market multimedia organisations to censor individual expression, particularly in the art world (vis-a-vis Wal Mart's application of censorship before recordings are even issued, to parallel your Singapore issue in the supposed "free" West.) I am here merely questioning whether a post may be an advert, not denying anyone their right (on a moderated bulletin board, their right within certain agreed boundaries) to have their say.

I censor nothing, but will act to prevent pointless insult and potential litigation, keep things on track and under control and to keep this site moving along whilst maintaining my sense of humour. Sorry if you can't see that.

Now, the topic of this thread was other sites that are great for Cabin Crew. Any more out there, before this topic gets hijacked?

Well, I'm not going to cast any votes on which site may be the *best*, but here are some of the other Cabin Crew sites that I visit regularly:

Flight Attendants.org (http://www.flightattendants.org/)

Cabin Decompression (http://www.angelfire.com/co2/cabindecompression/)

FABP (http://www.geocities.com/fabp_2000/)

SkyChick (http://www.skychick.com/) A quick heads-up... this one, whilst being an OK site contains blind links that grab hold of your web browser, then can't be shutdown. and show ads every minute. If you are happy with that, then go-ahead; personally I don't like them. Otherwise, cool, CD! Thanks. £6

A bit of a late reply to the dialogue but no relation thank you very much.

The smiley faces are no mask for the words you have chosen and though you say they are in jest, I wonder myself.

I want to participate in other boards as I do here at PPRUNE if that is ok and since this is a place to share, I was hoping someone would share a simple piece of information which has no threat whatsoever to the rules of PPRUNE.

I have seen a couple of boards now and the PPRUNE site is mentioned without any hint of being commented on by the boards staff.

I don't see them here unless they post under a different name, though like me going to a board means I can read the comments without actually posting.

...and another one is Crewstart.com (http://www.crewstart.com) wot I have just come across.

Flybygirl, I don't moderate with malicious intent, no matter what you may think; I'm just a long term punter on PPRuNe who went over to the Dark Side. I must have got my tone wrong somewhere, so sorry if you are hurt. Lets not lose perspective however, all I did was query whether this was a bit of commercial self-promotion; I'll choose my words more carefully in future to avoid stepping on unnecessary toes.

Hey Sweet FA!

I thought that name sounded familiar! Yes, I've seen your many insightful and humourous contributions over at Planetalk7. Can't quite explain why the participant traffic levels over there have been so depressed of late. Other than being able to hear one's echo and the constant need to sweep away the cobwebs, it appears to be an interesting site with lots of interesting discussion threads, not the least of which are the "racy" ones initiated by you! I like where your mind is! http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/cool.gif I guess everyone is over here, including me!
