I sent my CV off to the LHR address a few weeks ago. They relied straight away saying that they only have us vacancies at the mo, for which you need a greencard. UK vacancies are always advertised at www.uk.ual.com (http://www.uk.ual.com) so I'd check that out regularly if I were you.
Good Luck!

Hi. I work for United.

We just received a newsletter a couple of days ago saying they have met their desired quota. Their last graduating class will be going through August 16th, I think.

I will not be back to work until the 7th, but if I hear of any specific dates, I will post it.

Have you tried our website....... www.jumpseatnews.com (http://www.jumpseatnews.com) or the official ual website? They should have some employment info.

Good luck

Hi Xenia....you know my CV better than I do!!!

I went for UAL about 10yrs ago....it was an open interview at a hotel in central london...fill out the form, they screen it, you stand up & talk about yourself for a couple of mins & then the most patronising interview I've ever had (5mins long & very unprofessional)...didnt get the job!!!

To be honest SussexPSR I noticed you mentioned JY long time ago in this forum, plus I enjoyed the "tete-a-tete" you had with RawData :D not long ago in the main forum (about JY CRJs....) :o

Hi Xenia...never realised my posts were so amusing....have to say I do actually miss JEA, although I bump into most of the former LGW base at work as many of us went to EuroLGW or l/haul BA at Gatwick, although I dont miss the lgw-jer-lgw-gci-lgw-jer-lgw in the summer, or the lgw-jer-lgw-bhd-bhx & back to lgw by road & not forgetting the lgw-cmf-bhx-cmf-lgw ski charters!!!! Where were you based??
