I am maybe in the wrong forum but i think i will get more sense out of this forum than the pilot forums.

I will be departing across the pond for some hour building. So far i have been lucky and the seats next to me have been filled with kids or small shouldered types (I am a 6' rugby forward). Whats the deal if i get landed next to some mountain of a person who needs a shoe horn to get there buttocks into a economy seat. This isn't usually a problem on european carriers but as i am going delta i presume there will be some of the more well fed Americans on board. And there isn't a no-chuffer in the seat nextdoor option on the online booking.

MJ

Is there anything i can do or will i just have to accept it.

Erm, pretty much put up with it!!! If there are empty seats, which there often are on scheduled routes, the crew may move you if you ask them nicely! Also Delta's seat pitch isn't too bad, you should be ok. Happy hour building!
