After finishing the comics, horoscope and crossword puzzle, I stumbled across an interesting article in the June 22nd edition of the LA TIMES regarding the transformation happening in FA uniforms, and figured I'd pass it along. You can probably access the article for free for several more days. After that, they start charging. There was a photo of some BA Hosties modeling old and new uniforms, flanked by fashion designer Julien MacDonald, who's redesiging the new uniforms. Also shown were some circa-1970s photos of SWA stewardesses in hot pants and some "Braniff Babes" (their official designation! http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/eek.gif ) modeling psychedelic print leggings and scarf hats designed by Emilio Pucci!
