Thought I would keep those who dont receive FTW up to date.

As part of its restructuring programme, South African Airways (SAA) has announced several new top management appointments.
Clive Else, currently acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will become CEO of SAA Technical (SAT). Jan Blake, current CEO of SAT, has been appointed General Manager responsible for mergers, acquisitions and disposals. Both appointments will be effective from December 1.

Fortune Ntlhoro has meanwhile been appointed Chief Procurement Officer.

Blake will be responsible for ensuring that SAA delivers on its commitment to reshape the airline into a new business model by next year, with seven separate subsidiaries being established. The seven subsidiaries are the passenger airline, SA Technical, Voyager, airport operations, Mango, SA Cargo and SA Travel Centre. They will be independent subsidiaries, operating as profit centres and will have their own corporate functions.

will have their own corporate functions.

7x end of year functions, 7x fully catered board meetings, 7x CEO expense accounts for client entertainment.

Yes, I guess each would have its own functions.............
