Strange no one talk about VRS....
When you apply for the VRS scheme you better understand that this is not a RETIRMENT scheme. This is a REDUNDANCY scheme and there are huge differences between the two. If you go for the VRS you will lose the benefits you usually entitled to when you retire. If this is a redundancy scheme, why people are becoming redundant and a new people are being hired? !
