Qantas Link reduced minimus; a pilots perspective

Just wondering, from a pilots point of view, would it be silly to apply for QF Link with only 250 multi. I can see the possibility of not getting a command and then being stuck as one would need to go backwards to get the 500 multi that other airlines are after. Will QF link let those with below 500 take cmd of their aircraft.

Also, anyone aware of progression time to LH seat with QF link.

there's no statutory requirement of 500 hrs Multi Command to get your command at Qlink.

Progression to the left seat may me slow but you'll get there at the same time if you have 250 or 1250 multi command on joining.
