Yep. All true but only temporary i've heard (until Jan 08). Apparently being replaced by one of Murray's boys, Hespe. I don't like the way this is heading....

Big Kev gone for 6 weeks to Dispatch Reliability, supposed to fix the 747 delays. Rod Hespe in his seat for the time.
Think Kev is running the new OT crew that started this week.

All of M's illinformed and misguided changes are starting to combine to create a $h!t storm that has the potential to bring the international network to it's knees. But of course it flows down hill so it is the middle men who will be knee caped first as M fights for his life in the deep end. He is on notice from the board. M V and C should all be trminated for the state that they have allowed Qf Engineering to degenerate into. The boys on the ground are working under increasing pressure with less resourses as the bonuses get reeled in. My hat goes off to them, they have not buckled under the pressure..... yet. What sort incident will make the board sit up and take notice???? As for Big Kev, he is the only one left of Ms three mousekateers who has actually worked on an aeroplane......

What sort of incident...

Even the unspoken incident won't worry the board, it is all costed.
If the public ever realised the sort of incompetence masquerading as management at Q, the AGM would remove all of them.

Enjoying a dwindling monopoly allows them to be seen as successful. Every year Singapore, Emirates et al encroach a further 1% or so..The creeping takeover continues whilst we throw good money after bad at J*, J* Asia, J* Int, outsourcing maintenance hiding it all in interesting annual accounts...

The international network is already on it's knees as cross subsidies(J*) make it harder to make a buck on a full 400. More MEL's more diligence shown by the pilots. I know how much pressure engineers are under to dispatch we see it all the time....
Something wil give...

:suspect:

The genius of maintenence is repeated in Flight operations and many other competing business units that this idiot has overseen...As a certain US president had sitting on his desk..The buck stops here. Corporate ethics these days are non existent.....

Critical Path Crew

It is made up of 6 LAMEs from Dom , Sit & Base. Their job is to work the hotspots each day to ensure no delays. That is the spiel that they gave us when it started last week.
