Its my first post, so please be kind.
Any of you know what the UK employment law says about having different pay scales for the same job. Is it legal?:ooh:

You're paid whatever your contract says, no it's not illegal.

I'm not sure if thats true. There's been a number of cases of workers sueing councils to get the same pay for the same job. Not sure if thats only under sex or age discrimination though.:confused:

At Ryanair it seemed everyone was on different contracts and pay, especially the new joiners.
