Seems you'll be alone :)

Unfortunately I couldn't come for the requested date.

I'd appreciate a debrief if they call me again.

Good luck ! ! !

Well there's going to be two of us at least.

Not much competition perhaps. No slipping laxitives into my drink now

There shouldn't be much competition - I don't think HKE have ever knocked anyone back.

Just don't fall for the "yeah you'll be in the left seat within 6 months" rubbish.

This is a company that poaches experienced F/O's with the promise of a quick command then hires very questionable direct entry Captains.

The pay is also rubbish.

Be warned.

Looks like I`ll be joining you down there.... Any ideas on what the assesment involves?

Showing up.

Not laughing @ them while they "interview" you.

They have literally had a brand new B738NG parked the last week with no crews.

Not just restricted to HKE, HKA do a good job of it as well :uhoh:

Whats going to happen with the merger :confused: twice as many FOs that have been promised upgrades :{

8ah and the like ,
When will you guys learn? The track record of these two companies is appalling, if you are that desperate for a job , sorting change at the Star Ferry turnstile would have a brighter future.

However, if you cant get a job elsewhere, inc the star ferry, take it, get a 73 endorsement, at least its ( slightly ) better than unepmloyment while you are waiting for a real job to come along :hmm:

Why not heading a bit north for a better pay and lower living expenses?

Duo, they ( HKA and HKE ) are taking non type rated guys with around 2500 hrs ( 1000 or so t/prop ) with the pay and conditions they are offering compared with other HK operators ( CX and KA ) they cant afford to be too fussy.
