Once you have sat all you ATPL theory exams how long do you have left in which to complete the CPL/ME/IR? how long does it last even if you have the CPL/ME/IR?

36 months (3 years) from the date of your last examination.

The time starts ticking from the day you sit your first exam.

no, the three year period for doing the CPL and MEIR starts from the date of the last examination.

you have to do all the exams in an 18 month period and that starts from the date of the first exam.

then you have to renew the IR at least every 7 years (or upgrade to an ATPL) - otherwise the exams lapse.
