Seen an advert for crewing officers for a company called Navtech. Can anyone tell me who they are and what they do, and what they operate in terms of aircraft? Because don't want to apply for a job if the company is no good. Any info would be great thanks.

Be aware !!

Navtech are a good company providing operational support for airlines worldwide. Services include, flight planning, met briefing and flight watch.

This is the first time they are employing Cewing staff for a new client, being Air Scandic. Navtech as mentioned before is a good company. Air Scandic though, well, lets just say be warned.

Thrust-Bump thankk for info. I thought Air Scandic had their own crewing somewhere up north. I would like to change jobs, but it may be a bad move if you say be aware of them. Whats their background and why are they using Navtech. Don't want to go from bad to very bad.

http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/cool.gif Information to hand at present indicates that Scandic are just coming out of a CAA Audit. That said, they did have their own crewing unit at Manchester but I think most of the crewing bods have done a runner. Working with Scandic will be a nightmare. The Fat Controller will see to that.

Mail me your CV, and I will see what I can do for you. Have you got any Ops experience ??
