Was wondering whether the 300nm xc for the award of the CPL can be flown whilst hours building, or does it have to be with the FTO which is providing the CPL course? LASORS doesn't seem to make it clear. Also, what proof do you need that the flight has been undertaken?
Thanks for help.

Yes - it can be part of your hour building.
No - it doesn't need to be with a particular FTO.
Proof - log book entries will be sufficient but perhaps keep the receipts for the landing fees if you wish.
None of the log book entries for the CPL 300 miler that I've seen have been certified by anyone (unlike the PPL X-country which, as you know, has to be signed by the airfields you visit) and I've yet to hear of any being contested or questioned.
Others may have different experiences.
Good luck.

Just make sure you label it clearly in your logbook.

I seem to remember that the CPL application form asks for the date of the 300nm trip and the only thing you need to back it up is your log book.
