Silly Question on the logging of time as an SO at CX.

Do you log the whole flight?

Or just the time you sit in the seat?

Also, on your license does it say 744 (with restrictions)?

Just wondering.

Thanks to all that answer.:)

Logged as P2X for the time sat in the seat. (The HK logbook has a separate P2X column.) Doesn't even count as P2 and some Aviation Authorities don't even recognise it.

you wont have the words 'Boeing' nor '747' anywhere on your licence.

As Dan says, many countries dont even recognise this time, so you are playing the long game as a SO.

I have my very fine hk cpl in front of me and the co-pilot rating is B747-400 (p2x). The pic rating is BE 76 as I understand cx have a few on order!
They only issue you with a cpl until you get upgraded.....to the right seat.

Hope that helps.
