I am an Operations Controller with 12 years experience. If anyone can help me, I would like to know if a Licence is required in Saudi and if so, can it be completed by correspondence. Is there much work there and what the salary range would be.
Thanks B-T

There has been some movement with Saudi Airlines in recent months for Instructors at their Operations School.
They require FAA Licences and Instructing experience.
A Dispatch Licence can be gained extramurally
with a 6 day residency course in the States, which is required to meet their standards.
Check your mail and get in touch for more details.

AFAIK, they are still looking for instructors and will start another recruitment drive around Sept.

FAA dispatchers certificate is a must. Package includes housing, schooling, 4 tickets, I dont know what the salary is.

Large sense of humour gland is a requirement.

Recommend looking at Airline Dispatcher's Federation website (www.dispatcher.org) with links to FAA dispatch schools.

AFDTC in Dallas worked for me!!
