Indian SECURITY CLEARANCE

Has anyone here in the US got there Security Clearance recently..How long did it take? Thanks.

Security Clearance from INDIA....anyone from USA heard or got theirs recently..and how long it took them..thanks everyone.

It took me about 2 months to get the security clearance in India

Took about the same from the US. I actually came over before it arrived, but it did take about 60 days.

Mine was within the past 120 days. B737NG Captain-Spicejet Ltd. US Citizen.
What airline are you joining? Unless you have something significant in your background you should not have anything to worry about. I'm told your paperwork is given to the Home Ministry and they check through various Intelligence Agencies/LE-agencies before you get your clearance. For any job in India, patience is a virtue that can be quite valuable.

Thank for all your feedback buddy. This sit will kill a person...Going to Deccan 320Cpt. Nothing in the past history here..121 for long time. Hope i will hear something soon..papers were given for clearance on July 27th. Thanks for you time and feedback buddy..

Would a DUI be show stopper?

I think having a DUI wouldn't be good thing for any pilot in any country. I truely dont think it would delay your clearance..Be open and honest with your company from the start. No more DUI's..take a taxi next time.

If you're looking at the airlines here in the states....If you're 100% honest on the App...they will not do anything..unless you lie to them on the App...Smile..its not end of the world...Have a great day buddy.
