Hi Folks !

Any feed back or personal experience about Royal Jet, Abu Dhabi ? What is it ike for flight crew?
Have heard vastly conflicting views about the company and management.
What is Abu Dhabi like for a family with young kids? Is it a lot like Dubai ?
Any info would be highly appreciated!

Cheers

Promise you the world ............give you nothing.

When the rent went up recently, their answer was .........so what.

They are run be locals and there is a " no profit organisation " mentality behind it.

Don't think your expertise, opinion or experience effect the equation............

They were set up to make the royal star paying of their own trips instead of getting a free lunch........... thats it in a nut shell.

Abu Dhabi Amiri flight would turn in their grave to see what it become........

The real Amiri flights in the GCC have no budget and pay truck loads to the drivers............................ sadly, those days have gone. Trick question, the original Chief Pilot of BOAC was the chief pilot of the Qatar Amiri flight and the first aircraft they delivered was a commet................
He retired at age 73................. and served them well

Royal jets is a non profit make believe organisation.............. nothing more

a non profit make believe organisationRoyal Jet is a make believe very profitable organisation, but it's well funded by the local government.
In an "internal deal", they basically get the Amiri aircraft along with other private owned jets. They give the Amiri acft some "usage" to minimise expenses and operate the other acft the best way they can. This doesn't mean a profit outright.
Altogether, Royal Jet staff have a poorer package than the other royal establishments in the region but they still have a better package than the other biz or airliner operators in the regions.
