The airport has received 6 million from OneNorthEast to improve the airport infrastructure. It will improve the apron and taxyway facilities as well as improving rail and road access. The terminal will also receive a new front so that it looks more like an international airport.
Looks like Hugh Lang is doing a great job!

Lets hope that, unlike a few regional airports I could mention, it keeps its GA friendly stance.

You've obviously never operated there for any period of time then ? You've never been told with no notice that you cant use the circuit all day, as a xxx A320 wants circuits, or that the airport is closed to light a/c for 40 mins, cos it's busy then ???
New taxy way ? It needs it, it's worse than the rwy at Banjul !
