Trust that nothing contenious will become of this request. Thought it might be usual to obtain an across the industry listing of how the numerous Airlines calculate leave entitlement to the Ops/Crewing staff on shift work.
The majority all work 12 hour shift, and usually have their leave calculated at 1&1/2 days per shift off.

How many days leave do you get?
Does this include public/bank holidays?

If you do not want to actually post your details for fear of being ' found out' feel free to e-mail them to me. Nothing will be revealed other than the results.

Happy Holidays ;)

where I work at Stansted, we work 4 on 4 off, as you said, we take 1 1/2 days leave per day requested although our B/H are at 1 for 1
If however you work out hours worked over a year, you will find that a 12hr worker actually does more hrs than an 8hr worker, to the tune of 13days at 8hrs.
