HI guys,

Looking for anyone who has a POH , Check lists or any relevend Data on the C210T - I have seen a few websites with POH's etc for sale, but not over keen to spend the money....yet....

I enjoy collecting as much info as I can, for the planes I have on my licence and I have noticed I am short on the 210

Any help will be much appreciated,

Not sure how you get a 210 "on your licence", but OK, I'll bite for now ...

What do you want to know ?

Some countries you do need each aircraft "on you licence".

eBay is a good place to look for flight manuals, I've bought quite a few there. I have a 1970's C210 manual, and could look up a specific detail when I'm home next week, if it would help.

Cheers, Pilot DAR

Really ? That's interesting, I didn't know that. Which countries does that apply to ? And do you need just major variants (eg PA28), or do you have to note each model too (eg -161 etc) ?

I believe New Zealand requires each type on the licence. They call it a type rating but it's really just a checkout.

South Africa, Namibia, have it. I think also the old (pre-JAR) Austrian license had that. Not sure if this has/had to include each and every variant, though (such as PA28-161/181, etc).

South Africa (Which I know) , requires, any plane under 5700kg to be endorced by type in your log book, with paper work send to our Civil Aviation Authority. It does not get written up in your licence but rather signed in your logbook..... very erritating! like C152,C150,C172,C172k..... you get the idea.

And then over 5700kg needs to be put on your licence

Hope that explains our silly system, although it does stop people getting into somthing they dont know and drivinging it into the ground!
