Does CA require a four year degree? I am trying to complete the online application and there is a section for secondary education. I am assuming this is for college. I did not go to college and the online app will not let me send it in unless I complete this section.

Any suggestions (other than getting a degree, LOL) ?

thanks

Just to confirm that you are talking about Air China (CA)? If so, perhaps you should try the South Asia and Far East forum.

Otherwise if it's Cathay Pacific (CX), then there is no need for a 4 year degree. Perhaps you could try writing "did not attend college" in the section?

(Maybe you can't fill in the section because you didn't go to college!!:))

What was I thinking when I typed CA. I knew it was CX but I guess it was late when I wrote the post.

Thanks for the input. i will try to write "did not attend college" in that section so I can get my app in.

Secundary education is high school. Uni/college is tertiary education.

It's best not to go to college, because intellectuals quickly get bored driving buses and trucks with wings; like 14 hours in the middle of the night . . .from LAX to HKG.

yo mesaflying! best of luck with your cadet app. mate. btw i just noticed something i find quite surprising - you're 41 years old!

i honestly really don't know about this, but, do CX consider people that are as old as you are for their *cadet* program? (or is that age false? :})

thanks :)

PS: capt_einz111 is right - secondary education is high school. if you would have written "did not attend college" in that section, you'd have probably pretty much blew it! :p haha (that actually might be somewhat true, btw, as imho it really is a bad misinterpretation of something that's actually supposed to be rather simple). but wait, you did eventually fill in that section with your high school results, right? :uhoh:
