Post War Aerobatic Teams.

Does anyone know of a data base of aerobatic teams in the UK post war? I am getting a museum of display and aerobatic flight together opening (fingers crossed) in Spring '09.
If anyone has any details of pilots name and teams served, I am really looking for pre 1974 teams.
The previous Jet Provost thread has been a great help.
