Home again to the soon-to-be frozen north tomorrow, have fun .. :ok:

Yup was a tad humid! Not the best of Cessna's parties, but what the heck, only there for 90mins.

Just a heads up. We are at Fulton County, handled by Hill Aviation. They've done ok, but (big BUT), despite filling all the paperwork correctly, and phoning to confirm this morning, our aeroplane is buried behind 15 other jets. Not sure we'll be leaving quite as planned...

They seemed to be pretty organised so I'm guessing (hoping!)this is a one off slip up.

Glad that Hill did their job. Always a snag going into Static Display site. As convention gets bigger every year, the FBO folks have ongoing challenges in getting all visitors, and static acft sorted. Can't think of anywhere outside of the US where this could be achieved. Many moons ago when the static was over at PDK it was real fun.

How did you eventually get out, on time?

Poor guys, it took them nearly 4 hours to extricate the aeroplane! Thye estimated there were nearly 30 aircraft parked infront of it!

We left an hour late, but consummed quite a lot of the food they had in the hangar. Seared scallops are not something you come across very often in the world of deep fried cheese curds & brats, so it was (almost) worth the wait.

How'd you like that lot on your home ramp? All trying to get fuel at the same time!
