They have an AD about f/o position for B744/B777/MD11.
Somebody work as an expat captain or f/o in eva now?
Could you share some general infos with me regard EVA?

Are they hiring non-type rated expat f/o?
If they do, what's their average experiences?
How about the salay and housing?

Thank you very much previously!
Good flight!:ok:

yes they are hiring non type rated for f/o.All fleets need f/o's, so u could be lucky and get a choice.
As long as you have a ATPl and 500 jet, u can go for the jet positions.
salary plan on earning 4-5000 US a month. no need for housing, EVA will give a room in the company hotel.good luck if u have applied.

Thanks Flying Mechanic!
Do you work for Eva now?
How long do you expect this kind of f/o shortage lasts?
Thanks again.
Happy Landings :ok:

Pilot shortage at EVA will exist as long as EVA underpays it crew, and does not improve conditions. $4-5000 US a month is half what the industry is paying for heavy jet f/o's.Join EVA get your jet time and move on.

You should work with MAS to know how much less they can pay and F/O's willing to work for.

I have an application with EVA and I have been advised they are 'processing applications' for forthcomming interviews. This seems positive and a great way to get your foot in the door on heavy jet time. Good luck to all with an application :ok:

Hi everyone,

this seems to be a very debated topic.
I actually finish my assessment successfully , and want to get a head start regarding training.
Any that can help me get a big picture of whats coming next?
How long takes the training?
any material that can be shared?
what is the average pass mark?
how long to start training line training?

Kindly reach me on [email protected]

Thanking you,
