Anybody happen to know what sort of roster and salary the NJE KingAir guys get ? Is it the same as the regular jet crews ? (Interested more in F/O).

Seems like a good way in for someone who hasn't quite got the 1500 hrs to apply for the jets.

The captains on the 1900 get jet first officer salary. First officers get less, dunno how much though.

No upgrade possible during your time on the 1900: if you get in as an F/O, you stay an F/O until you transition to a jet (don't ask me why, I think it's due the absence of line trainer and instructor on the fleet). Transition to first officer on the jets is supposed to happen after 18 months on the 1900.

Hope this helps

The possible cause for confusion is that The Beechcraft 1900 was developed directly from a KingAir (Beechcraft Super King Air 200)

The Beech 1900 C type rating is the same as the super King Air 350 (But not the 200).
