Sorry to clarify your question do you mean by using data from Mini QAR or general fleet reliability?

Yes we do,

FDM will be with all fleets by the end of 2008, yes even the C550B ...

CL300, Educate me on this with a requirement source document (Or tell me to P*ss off and do the research myself!)
I thought this was for the heavies only? I am fairly sure that NJE fleet does not have mini QAR but will double check, I operated a GIV SP with one fitted but nobody could decide how to present the data on such a small fleet as the anonimity would be compromised, I guess the Flight safety foundation will be the best forum and they will be able to come up with generic improvements for certain airports or routes rather than using it to identify particular crew mal practice.

It's a JAR OPS 1 requirement for aircraft (commercial only) above 27 tons since Jan 05.

(JAR-OPS 1.037 Accident prevention and flight safety programme)

ACJ OPS 1.037
Accident prevention and flight safety programme
See JAR-OPS 1.037
1. Guidance material for the establishment of a safety programme [and Flight Data Monitoring] can be
found in:
a. ICAO Doc 9422 (Accident Prevention Manual); and
b. ICAO Doc 9376 (Preparation of an Operational Manual).

Flight Data monitoring is no big deal, I can't see what the fuss is about. Anybody who has work for someone using it will not see it as threat. Fear of the unkown perhaps ?
