With a revalidated PPL(A) I'm looking for some cheap flying - self fly hire or a group. Something basic but airworthy. Any good suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

These guys seemed pleasant enough - although Elstree isn't the most convivial place to fly from...

Dont forget Denham not actually very far - just down the A41/M25 J17 (Maple Cross) - of course outside M25 mayhem times

Poodle over to Panshanger and check out the notice board in the flying club, there may be something of interest.

Thanks sheesh123 - I looked at Firecrest and the prices are good - but the Lion Flying Group are cheaper esp re membership fees (£60pa vs £29pm) I might look at Firecrest for some future training..

Thanks TC - looks good - not sure how eligable I'd be without any service connections though.

Haim Merkado at Panshanger does good rates on Archers but make sure that you have your "Bananas" in order!

Just went over to Panshanger and took a look at the notice board - nothing about group flying. Asked one of the guys behind the desk at the flying club - didn't know anything about it. I've since found the Lion Flying Group at Elstree and can get a Tomahawk at £70 per tacho hour - so search over for now. But a share in a cheap taildragger next summer would be good.

Hi, I went through your post. It was long time ago however may be you could help still. I am looking for a possibility of hour building. You have mentioned somebody with Cessna 152. Can you please share the details. Thank you very much and merry christmas.
