:ooh:
If the T&C's are good, I can see ALOT of people in this Asia/Pacific region jumping quickly from their current jobs... watch out QF, Pornstar, Jetcon, Virgin & Pac/Poly Blue etc...
The ball is in Tigers court to attract many, with a better deal it would seem...
and that's not to mention Air China's Oz-basing offer!:}
Let the show begin.:D

I find it hard to believe that Tiger are only just now advertising for crew. Seems VB, J* and Q are sucking the life out of most regional/GA operators already. Well they are where I work!!!

Money US$ seems good at China for an Aussie base on the A330, might shake the trees a bit...

All direct entry commands for tiger have already been filled. The resignations from VB have alreay begun.

Surely VB guys wouldn't front for another SSTR. Must be the ex Ansett guys with Airbus time or some of the expat returnees.

D:confused:

What are the details of the 330 position? Where is it advertised?

You must be talking about the ONE person who has resigned to go to Tiger Silver! From what I have heard it is guys returning from overseas that have mostly filled the Direct commands.

These guys really are just as bad as the rest. No details in the advert or on their website of bases, salary, conditions...
Imagine a business employing a mid level manager on anywhere between $60-150,000. Have a look in the Australian or the Courier or Herald and notice that in the real world comapnies advertsie the salary and some of the T & C's. Why oh why do avaiation managers think it is acceptable to omit these details? Are we supposed to blindly apply in the dark and then when and if we get an interview, we ask the inevitable questions, then say, no thanks, I can do better, see you?
It really is amateur hour.
Captains are earning management level salaries (in other industries that is)and should be recruited accordingly.

Does anyone know whether Tiger will recruit from GA in the future?
