Your airline will prepare you for the DGCA oral. I am assuming you are a Capt and the exam is the AIC oral exam. The briefing will consist of rules and regulations, route structure etc. When you go for the exam take your logbooks and all your licenses/medicals. Depending on your experience level and attitude the oral can last 5 mins to 1 hr. Some guys have failed but it is rare. 90 days after you join you will have to take a 50 question Air Reg exam as well which your airline will help you with as well. Best of luck. Welcome to India.

The DGCA oral exam is a Govt requirement and will be the same no matter which airline you join.
