I know that previous posts on this company have appeared in the past, but the search engine seems to only allow one person per month at the moment so I am asking afresh.

I note the recent advert in this weeks flight for pilots. Does anyone have any info as to facts, figures and conditions.

What are the chances of getting onto a G4 or G5 for transatlantic work of you are current on a long haul airliner such as the 767. Captains pay/conditions required.

The previous respondents are pretty unsympathetic and callous. Here's the scoop:

Net Jets CURRENTLY operates Falcon 2000s (very nice), Hawker 800XPs and Citation series aircraft out of Europe. Its Middle East subsidiary operates G-IVSPs, Falcon 2000s and Hawker 800XPs out of Saudi Arabia.

There has been speculation that NJE would eventually add BBJs to its European register. Unitl then, the Falcon 2000 is likely to be the largest aircraft in the European fleet. Having sat in the sharp-end of a Falcon 2000 (awesome EFIS with HUD), I would be quite happy there... And I believe they are flown across the Pond quite frequently.

If you want GIVSPs and GVs, apply to the Middle East subsidiary.

The IPA has the gen.

If their figures are correct, they would have to double the basic to tempt me (46k gbp Capt), or perhaps the extras are spectacular; duty pay isn't though. Home base can be anywhere near an international airport.

I am sick and tired of flying the scum of the earth on holiday. I'me very service oriented and have often felt that a well paid corporate job would give better job satisfaction. The only stumbling block is always the difference between pay from the likes of a 767 to an execjet.

I find your comment about scum of the earth a bit off.I don't know who you fly for but the charter operators I know (in the UK at least) don't pay that much more (if at all)as many G4/5 or Challenger jobs from what I understand.

Being service oriented will help a lot as my experience was that as long as it looked good in the cabin that's all that mattered.Yes I've done charter and I tried corporate,but not for long! ;)

Come on Flanker, flying is so cheap these days anyone can afford it and i think "anyone does". Some of these "people" are barely in the category of homosapiens. The a/c at the end of some sectors is something to behold, i wonder if they actually live in homes or in some pig swill?.

I worked for NJE about 2 years ago(Citation VII), joined as F/O with 3500 hours - all shorthaul regional mix of TP/Jet left and right seat. I was paid 36,000GBP (salary paid gross (sort out own tax affairs) in Euro's or US$,your choice - salary on sliding scale depending on total hours from £25,000 (F/O) to £60,000(CAPT)).Time to command with previous command experience 3-6mths, without 12-18mths max. salary increases by about 15% for left seat. Per diem allowance 50Euro's. roster schedule 6 days on, 5 days off with travel to/from work paid by NJE and included in 6 day tour, hotel B&B paid by NJE. Now available is a savings and investment plan with contributions from company.All flight training in U.S., Company induction and other ground courses in Portugal. Generally pretty nice people to work for and quite understanding (unusual for this business),American work ethos with 2-4 wks leave per annum (increasing with length of service) but my family and I found the working schedule not to our liking - just a personal thing though, I know others who love it. The flying was very interesting and the aircraft very enjoyable to fly.
