Good morning,

So i fell on this:

Looks pretty good, and sounds quite serious.
But there are few things that shocked me:

They say training lasts 12-14 months.
They also say that at the end of the course, we'll have 330 hours of flight..but how can we have all that in 14 months :confused:

Oh wait, was it more ?
"More Than 330 Hours Of Airline Quality Flight Training"

"You are guaranteed more than 330 hours of total flight time"

Hi there,
Quite a while since I posted on prune. I was a instructor in the UK for a few years but now live in Spain. I can say that training in Spain you do have the advantage of the wx, however with the major lack of instructors within europe it is difficult to see how they can promise these figures. I would also point out that the instructor situation is only going to get worse, I do think most FTO are choosing to 'stick head in sand' what I would say to anyone considering training with any FTO is DON'T pay upfront. Any reputable FTO will let you 'pay as you go'.

Well i guess i got my answer.
Here is a clear message i received from the head of training:


"The only difference is the layout of the course both programs is ab-initio.
***The Ab-initio integrated program integrates the theory through out the duration of the course and requires therefore more theory and more dual flight instruction.

***The PPP is a modular based program where each module is optimized so to be completed in less time and at a reduced cost. Both programs gives you the same licenses and more or less the same amount of flight hours except that the PPP includes also a Flight Instructor license."


The Ab-initio is done with Aeromadrid, so let's forget about it.
I am hesitating with the PPP.

Do you recommend me going via the PPP?
Or should I forget about that and stick to a school proposing an integrated ATPL program?
